HELLO!
My name Is Joshua Skerritt I have over nine years of graphic design and illustration experience. I have been the art director and senior designer for two clothing brands, CornerStore Hero and Local Strangler. I have extensive experience working with licensed shirt designs for companies such as Nintendo, Nickelodeon, Hasbro and DC to name a few. I have collaborated on watch designs for Nooka and G-Shock. I’ve created marketing material for Red Bull, Sprayground and Corvette Racing. I've done in store and window display design for the Michael K and Transit stores in New York City and Brooklyn. I've worked at American Rag a juniors and plus women's clothing company that sells product exclusively to Macy's department stores creating fashion prints.
For the past four years I’ve worked at Nanz: a luxury hardware company in New York with showrooms in Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco and London. Part of my job entailed working with the CEO to help redesign and maintain their website, create print and web based ad campaigns published in Architectural Digest, World of Interiors, Wallpaper, New York Times and Goop. My role at Nanz also included designing product concepts for meetings, product photography and working vendors for branding materials.
On a personal note my illustration work was featured in The 2018 Indigo Design Awards in Japan and the RAW NYC Artists showcase this past summer.
